Nose Job obsession?

I'm 15 but I seriously think i need a nose job. im obsessed with my nose, because i know im going to end up with my dads nose, and its REALLY wide, and im really scared because i don't want a "manly" nose that already looks really bad. Even my mom is worried, and i am constantly talking about how much i hate it. I don't know what to do, and please don;t tell me to just get over it. I saw a 16 year old get one and I was wondering if that can really be done at that age

i think you should wait because your nose could turn out differently. its better safe than sorry.
Wait till your 18 to get one. I wish that I could get one. I broke mine a few years back and I hate how it looks . Even though everyone says it looks fine.

I'm definitely not going to talk you out of it, because my whole life I have hated my nose despite people telling me it's fine. Mine is long with a bump in the middle. However, I would still advise waiting until you get a little bit older--at least over 18. Is your mom offering to pay for it? Because nose jobs are verrrry expensive and insurance doesn't cover it. Average is about $5,000 to $6,000. There are a lot of other things in life you can spend that kind of money on, which is why at 30 I still have not gotten a nose job. For me, it may be another ten years, even though I've always wanted one. I have boyfriends and a good job and my nose has not gotten in the way of any of that, no matter how much *I* hate it. You learn to live with it until you can comfortably do something about it. Hope this helps!
Oh. My. God. I have my dad's beak, I admit it, but none of my family ever 'got worried' about how it might affect the way I looked. They were too busy caring about who I am on the INSIDE. I feel just awful that your mom is so superficial, and also that she seems to be passing that onto her helpless daughter. That being said, I think you're ok. At 15, your nose is actually pretty much the shape it is going to be in for the rest of your life. I don't think that you will 'grow into your dad's nose', so it's a pretty good bet that you're safe.
Yes,it can be.I think its by the age of 15 when u can get it done.I got my nose done when i was 16,if you really dont like your nose,nothing is wrong with fixing it a little it really helps your self esteem,and your trauma goes away.
You probably don't want to hear this, but I think you should wait until you are at least 18. I used to dislike my nose a lot, I almost had a nose job done at 18, but I ended up backing out. Now, I'm 25, and I'm quite happy with my nose. You might not appreciate the whole picture, you are not just your nose you know, so try to appreciate your good features and you might even start to like your nose in time. I bet your nose gives you character and make you look interesting, so be careful, you don't want to lose that individuality and end up just looking cookie cutter bland do you? HTH : )
