Nose Job ... ?

OK, so I have been researching nose jobs, and I know that surgeons are operating younger and younger on paitents. Would you say that 13 years old is too yound for a nose job, or ever better a question, can you direct me to a plastic surgeon that would operate on a 13 year old.

  1. If you pay them enough they will operate on anybody. look at michael jackson. I think 13 is too young, you might grow into your nose, whatever it is that you don't like about it. You don't have your mature face yet. Personally, i think plastic surgery is a bad idea unless there is something REALLY abnormal about your looks. People can die in surgery, it's not very likely, but there is still a risk.
  2. yeah 13 is 2 young
  3. Thirteen is too young for cosmetic surgery! I knew a girl in junior high who had major cosmetic surgery proceedures done between the ages of thirteen and sixteen. She was not ugly, but not the cutest girl around. She was average looking with an average figure when I knew her in junior high. Her family moved to another part of town and I lost track of her for a few years. I ran into her again when she was a sophomore in high school. I didn't recognize her! She was slimmer and after looking very hard, all I could recognize were her eyes and voice. She had changed on the inside as well as the outside. She couldn't handle her new looks and was totally wild and promiscuous. Adolescence is hard enough on a girl. Her body is changing naturally, and a girl doesn't need the additional stress of an almost overnight change. The girl I knew flipped out. I don't know if she ever settled down. When I knew her in high school she was a teen pregnancy waiting to happen. A girl should wait until she is an adult and can finance the cosmetic surgery with her own funds. No, no, no! A young teen does not need cosmetic surgery.
  4. Simply because the body is not done growing, rarely will a surgeon operate on a patient so young. However, when surgery is performed, good surgeons are able to predict how a patient's body will continue to grow and change, and make accomodations at the time. A follow up surgery is often performed in early adulthood if unwanted characteristics have returned. I am not going to say whether or not a person "should" get surgery.
  5. i really hope that your the 13 yr old and not the parent of the 13 yr old! 13 years old is way to young...my nose looks a whole lot different now than it did when i was 13!! you dont finish growing until your about 17-18 for a girl! no no no no no no no no no no no no no no to a nose job for 13 year oldS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! if ur a parent asking this question u have major mental issues and if ur the child....u need to get over yourself, ur 13 ur not mature mentally & pysically enough to get any plasic surgery...talk to a therapist if u start getting obssesed with this issue good luck!
