Has anybody had rhinoplasty/nose job? I am curious about splint/pain/recovery time.?

I am having this done June 1st. I had a septoplasty 3 years ago but this time I am having my cartilage/hump removed.

1. my sister had her nose done and i thought it looked horrifically painful. she took pain medication and was really out of it. she didn't remember any pain. i think it's painful for the people taking care of you.
2. i seen it done on TV...and it really wasn't pleasant for me...because the person who got the nose job done said that it hurted like hell for 3 weeks. However, if you really want to have a beautiful nose, then go ahead. Except i think that everyone's nose is unique in his/hers own ways :D
