Has anyone here had a rhinoplasty and/or a breast job? How much pain and how much did it cost for each one?

Give me as many details about it that you can! Please! I'm not considering any time soon, but something I've wondered about for a while now. As many details as you can give would be great! :D Thank you!

  2. I had rhinoplasty done. I actually had a broken nose and had to have it repaired. I would "NOT" recommend doing this if you don't really have to. The pain after the procedure was really intense. And, let me tell you, I have a high pain tolerance. I mainly slept for 3 days afterwards with the pain medication that was given. I was taking those pain pills around the clock. It felt like someone took a 2x4 smacked me dead center in the face with a lot of force. Hurt pretty bad. Then, once I got the pain under control, I had to go back to the doc and have the packing removed from my nose. (They pack your nose for bleeding) That gave a whole new meaning to the word "hurt." It sucked major. It has been six years since my procedure and sometimes I can smell things, and other times I can't. My nose is still numb on bridge and I am very sensitive to anything touching it at the same time. So, if you really don't need this procedure, then, don't do it. Educate yourself with the pros and cons of the procedure and make sure you go to a doc that knows what they are doing. It's your face and you don't want to mess it up by having some quack do a sloppy job on your nose. Good Luck,
  3. Depending on where you live I would be speaking with a health professional in my area
  4. Rhinoplasty & Breast job is very safe nowadays. There is one company that is very famous in India that arranges Tummy tuck, Liposuction surgery for foreigners in India. They are called the Fly2india4health Consultants. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. I have also read that they arrange financing for international patients, as all surgery is not covered by insurance or by the stinking NHS. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. The cost savings are incredible. As a doctor I personally believe that your Tummy tuck, Liposuction surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of Healthcare available here is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star. My cousin got her Tummy tuck, Liposuction surgery done there and she is more than very happy with the results. She is all praise for Fly2india4health Consultants. She paid just 20% of the cost what she was quoted in USA and it was like a wonderful vacation for her. Hope this helps Source(s): http://www.fly2india4health.com
  5. for rhinoplasty- After surgery, your surgeon will instruct you to stay in bed with your head raised during the first twenty-four hours. Your face will feel puffy and you may have a headache. Your nose may also ache. It is common to have a little bleeding during the first few days after surgery, and you may continue to feel some stuffiness for several weeks. It is normal to have some swelling and bruising around your eyes specially after two or three days. Most of the swelling and bruising should disappear within two weeks or so. In the days following surgery, many patients feel depressed because of their bruised and swollen faces. This stage will pass and your spirits will improve as your nose heals. Dressings, stitches and splints are usually removed after one week and you can usually return to school or sedentary work within this period. Although you will feel much better after two days, it may take several weeks before you're back to normal. Your surgeon will give you guidelines about when you can resume your normal activities. in the Philippines, a rhinoplasty costs $600 - $2,200 depending on what will be done. for a breast job- For the first few days after your breast augmentation surgery, you will most probably feel tired and sore. You will need to take the painkillers and antibiotics your surgeon prescribes to relieve discomfort and prevent infection. Your surgeon will take the stitches out in a week to 10 days, but your breasts may be swollen for the next three to five weeks. Your scars will be noticable for several months but will eventually begin to fade. Your surgeon will give you some instructions such as not to lift your arms, or not to push, pull, or carry heavy objects.Follow your surgeon's advice on when to begin exercises and normal activities. You should avoid direct physical contact since your breasts will probably be sensitive for two to three weeks. in the philippines, breast augmentation costs $2,500 to $4,580, depending on the kind of implants
