- Well my ex girlfriend whent through a rino surgery, it wasnt that bad. The doctor told her to stay in bed for 2-3 days. I was with her all the time. The first 2 days are the hardest. You have to breath through your mouth and cant eat well. After one week the doctor takes off all the bandages. After that your nose will be swolen. After a month your nose will go back to normal, and it will look very nice. The doctor says about 6 month to have 100% recuperation.
