- medical terminology------ rhino-nose plasty-surgery
- i think rhino referes to or is a scientific term for the nose and plasty means surgical modification i think.
- Because "rhino" is latin for nose That is why a rhinocerous is so called ... because of its horn
- rhin/o is the medical term for nose.....-plasty is a suffix meaning to surgically repair.......put them together you get nosejob...
- My Rhino needs a Nose Job!!
- its the medical term. rhino is a combining form meaning nose and plasty is the suffix meaning reconstruction (i might have this part a little wrong.) all medical words are made up of combining forms and prefixes and/or suffixes. medical terminology is a really hard course
- why is breast inplants called ogmentation
- It's greek. Rhinos means nose and Plastikos is to shape.
- The term rhinoplasty means "nose molding" or "nose forming
- cuz its meant for noses that look as big as a rino's horn
