usual recovery time for breast augmentation?

Public Comments

  1. no sure i think maybe a full three months would be good
  2. Max time about one year. I caught an infection, but was mobile after 2+ weeks. Mine started looking fantastic after 6 weeks, and phenomenal after three months when all the swelling subsided. Most people can get up and about after a week or so without needing assistance from others.
  3. It takes about a week before you feel to doing anything... a month before the swelling goes away and they start to get soft. About 2 months before you can really feel better doing things you used to and a year before you are totally healed....... well at least for me. Good luck if you are going to have it done AND it is not as bad as people say, as long as you stay on top of your pain meds you will be fine.
  4. You can't drive for a full week after surgery... it should take a full 6 weeks and up to a year for complete recovery. Depending on how the surgery is done, (whether the implant is behind or in front of the muscle) it needs to be redone every 8-10 years...
