- Not unless your breasts are now in your mouth.
- no it shouldnt affect u... but if u have anyother medical condition such as heart problem, diabetes or any serious condition than thats something else then u might need to consider telling ur dentist... if ur really confused u can take advise from the surgeon who did the surgery it wud b best... best of luck
- Yes, you can, but it's probably best to talk to your doctor first. With any prosthetic surgery (breasts, knee replacement, etc.), it is recommended to get a prophylactic antibiotic, which just means that you should take an antibiotic before any dental treatment to prevent infection, especially in your heart (endocarditis). The antibiotic will just help prevent the bacteria in your mouth from getting into your bloodstream while the dentist does the deep cleaning. Ask your doctor or dentist for a prescription. =)
- No, there is nothing to be concerned about. Deep cleaning, multiple extractions, periodontal surgery ... go for it. There is ABSOLUTELY NO need for antibiotic cover in your case. If you need further confirmation, ask your surgeon. Dentists sometimes will prescribe antibiotics "just to be sure" and to keep clients happy. This is ignorant and potentially overmedicating nonsense. Don't forget, antibiotics are not without risks i.e. allergic reactions, development of resistant strains, gastrointestinal upsets, thrush.
