- breat implant is disgusting.
- Probably too late, but: I think natural is always better.
- You wont be back at work for thursday or friday your going to be soar for a while. Make sure your getting the right size so that you dont look fake. and good luck. p.s. to everyone else...plastic sugery is an amazing invention and if people choose to go through with it, it is their choice. cause everyone deserves to be beautiful.
- One of my really good friends got it done, and she was only off work for two days. She said she was sore for a good three weeks after, and was completely healed in about six weeks. But about a week after is when it was the worst pain. Good luck with everything! Hope this helped.
- I have heard too many horror stories about breast augmentation not to put in my two cents' worth. Please watch a video (if you haven't already) of what can go wrong. Then make the choice as to whether or not you are willing to take the risk. This is informed consent. Usually a person sees the good results, but not the bad. If you don't see what could go wrong, you are making a choice with only half of the information. You are only 21, too. My breasts continued growing as I got in my 30s. Also, you won't be able to breast feed any children you may have later on. Finally, I can't tell you how many of my male friends ask me why women would want to do that to themselves. Natural looks better. They would rather see small breasts that are natural than large breasts that aren't. They tell me they look like something that a hooker or porno star has done. While I think breast augmentation can be monumentally helpful to women who have undergone cancer, I'm concerned that a young woman who is obviously concerned about her looks is not comfortable and confident enough with herself to tell the world to take her as she is. Now, that being said, in the cases of disfigurement or birth defect, I think breast augmentation is a wonderful alternative. I just have a couple of final questions: 1. Are the people who pay attention to you after you have breast augmentation who didn't before you had it going to be supportive friends? Or will they drop you as a friend if you has some awful accident (god/dess forbid!). And, 2. If you are getting the augmentation to (as I've heard so many girls on TV say) "boost your confidence," what would happen to your confidence if you had to have the implants taken out. Basing confidence on a physical attribute is dangerous because physical beauty fades no matter how much plastic surgery you have. I hope I haven't offended you. That wasn't my intention. I just want to make sure you have considered all the risks and benefits thoroughly before going ahead with the surgery. Good luck to you whichever option you go with! I hope if it's the surgery that everything goes great and you have a wonderful result that you are happy with. Okay, mother hen syndrome pills are being given to me now! Hopping off my soapbox. :)
- Breast implants are f***in fabulous. Go for it girl. I have breast fed 4 children for 1-2 years each,i am currently breast feeding twins so when i'm done i will be signing up for the same surgery. My mom is on her 4th pair and i will explain why. Please get a trusted surgeon that does breast implants atleasr a few times a week. My mom went to a local surgeon in oneonta n.y, his name was Webster Staymen i think. My mom had 2 staph infections,2 removals of her left implant that he put back in again and they were just uneven and looked like she had been mangled by a wild animal.Yeah it was that bad. One capsulated, one hung like a tennis ball in a sock while the other one never dropped so it was up high and just awful.Uneven nipples,he put too many cc's in one so they werent the same size, proportion or anything. Well she had them taken out and went to NYC to a surgeon named Christina Ahn,wonderful plastic surgeon one of the top 10 in New York. She fixed my moms botched up breasts and 4 years later they are still perfect, everything about them is just fabulous and once again she has her self confidence back. Shes a hair dresser, she does 18 heads a day so shes blowdrying, cutting washing and on her feet all day. She went back to doin 10 heads a day after a week postpartum, then 2 weeks later she was back to her normal routine. You should heal just fine, and watch with the pain pills to only take them for 2 days so you don't get dependent on them. My mom never even used the pain meds. Ibuprofin worked just as well. I was with her through the entire process she went through for 4 years before she finally had them done properly. Please re-search your surgeon, thats most important. If you are confident with your doctor then all will be smooth. You will back on your feet in no time cause you will wanna try on new bras and shirts,i am excited for you.Good luck with your surgery you will be great.
- The number one factor in quick and somewhat painless healing time is your overall health before the augmentation.A healthy person who follows pre-op. orders generally have no problems and will be back to normal within 5-7 days. Another factor is the elasticity of your skin and the size of the implant. If your skin is youthful(with your age it is) it will be able to give room for the new implant, thus you will experience less pain. The final factor I've seen is having a good plastic surgeon that is very experienced with the technique that you both have agreed on fr the augmentation. Good luck and be sure to follow doctors orders and you should be up and running between 3-7 days.
- Breast Augmentation surgery is very safe nowadays. My cousin got her breast reduction, tummy tuck and facelift surgery in India by the company called Forerunners Healthcare .The Price for the surgery she paid in India was very less. She paid 30% of the cost she was quoted in America. Forerunners Healthcare is very famous in India. They arrange cosmetic and plastic surgery for foreigners in India. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low price, as the breast reduction, tummy tuck, facelift and other cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star. http://www.forerunnershealthcare.com Hope this helps.
