Has anyone had Arthrodesis or fusion surgery in the foot? If so, how was the experience and results?
Arthrodesis = surgery to eliminate the joint completely by welding the bones together I have arthritis and a bunion in my left foot. Having surgery 12/5. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks!

- i havent had the surgery but represented (im an attorney) a surgeon that was sued because the foot was fused at a downward angle. the patient's foot was fused in a position angled 45 degrees below perpendicular to the leg. the patient had to wear lifts on one side and he developed back injuries. the patient eventually went to another doctor to have the procedure re-done.
