I'm having foot surgery and want to know if there is any advise ?

I'm getting ready to surgery on my foot. They will be removing/fixing a bunion, a tailor's bunion, and 3 hammertoes. Sounds like a lot huh? Well, anyway, as much as I am looking forward to my foot not hurting, I am wondering if anyone else has had this and give me some advise?? Pros? Cons? What to do and not to do for during recovery time?

2. I just had foot surgery to repair a torn tendon and have a cyst removed. My toes are still numb after three months and i still have pain. My advice would be to stay off of it as much as possible even though i cant seem to follow that advice myself. Otherwise ..... just dont get the stitches wet and be careful when you walk.
