what is the recovery time for brain surgery (tumor)?
If a person has a braini tumor and had it removed, how long is the recovery time physically, mentally, and emotionally? thanks Please give me a time period... the person is in their mid twenties and had two surgeries.... the tumor grew back after the first surgery. thanks

- Brain surgery recovery time depends on the area of the brain that is affected, the amount of brain affected, the strength of the individual, the amount of support available, and other factors not listed here. I had brain surgery for another reason, and physically I was eating, talking and ready to get the heck out of the hospital within 4 hours, even though I "had to stay 24 hours because I was an inpatient". Emotionally and mentally, I am still recovering, even though that was 7 years ago.
