Has anyone had an Achilles tendon release done? Know anyone who has had it done?
My son has severe flat feet and in addition to doing surgery to correct the feet, the Dr. wants to do an Achilles tendon release. Was looking for some information about the surgery, how it is performed and what recovery time is. Our follow up with the Dr. is in two weeks and would like to be prepared. THanks for your help!

- I knwo people who had it done. They can't rmember how much time they were out of comission. It is something that is being done now to combat flat feet.
