Does anyone have any experience with surgery for flat feet (mid foot fusion).\?
I had the three pins in the foot thing....but there is a new surgery out that braces the ankle. I am looking for people who have had experiences with the surgery. For those of you who haven't, it isn't a cosmetic procedure-it's a matter of being able to walk pain free. Think before you write something ignorant.

- That's wierd... I think I'd rather just live with flat feet...
- i work in podiatry office and i'm familia with screw fixation but i'm not as familiar with new procedures available. i still may be able to help there is a very imformative website that has researched articles and a discussion forum with a doctor you may want to give a try. use the source as link to articles, i hope it helps you decide what to do.
