How can I make my open heart surgery scar less obvious?
I know it is something not to complain about because I survived the surgery, but I would like it to be less obvious.....I can't wear bikinis even though I only weigh 100 lbs because the scar is so weird looking if I wear a top like that or any top that shows skin. any help?

- I have a big scar on my foot. I just use the same cover-up that I use on my face. Oh, and Congrats on surviving the surgery!!!!!
- just get scar cream, to reduce the look of it..or apply like a foundation the same color as your skin with a little lotion so it doesnt look dry or something.. i wouldnt woory so much about it.. people dont care about scars if anything they think there cool...
- Maybe a halter style bikini top? Still looks sexy and is flattering but has more chest coverage. Halter tops can also be nice for summer....it shows skin without being too revealing. I don't know if cover-up or concealer would really be an option...your scar may be too deep for it to really work. I think you shouldnt worry about what people think of your scar...it shows how strong you are.
- Get a tattoo around it that would incoporate the look of the scar. It does not have to be big...just make sense with the scar in the middle.
- no tattos please, you should put the foundation on the shadows of your scar.the shadow makes any scar pop out more,so after doing that ,oh use water proof for swimming, after that you could really get another bikini top that is still sexy.it will open new door of fashion to you plus you'd feel alot better after you find the perfect one congradulations on the surgery!!!
- Cover them with dermablend concealer.
- mederma. about 25 at drugstores but worth it
