Where do I get a menu or diet for post open heart surgery?

I'm having open heart surgery on the 26th of this month, and need to pick up food I will be able to eat when I get home. I'm looking for a menu for preparing these meals and snacks.

  1. ask your doctor that will be operating on you to refer a worker to meet with you before having this operation so you can prepare things to eat at home....usually they visit you in the hospital but you need to know ahead of time.....good thinking ahead and you will be ok take care
  2. Google 'Heart Healthy Diet'. You are looking for foods that are low in salt, saturated fat and cholesterol.
