Getting open heart surgery in a week and might have my period same day. Has that happened to you?

What do they do? I am really nervous. I have had open heart surgery more times then you can count, but never on my period?

Sorry to hear of your health problems.I hope your surgery is a success this time. You will not be able to wear a tampon.They will give you a (hospital) pad to put between your legs.This is not going to be any big deal to them.They have seen this issue many times before.Just let them know before hand so they can give you the pad while your dressing in your gown.
