I go to medical tommorow about my shoulder i tore my labrum in 2005 i had a mri done and it showed the tear ?

but my recruiter told me not to mention it i know i should have but that time is gone?I hurt my shoulder again in gym and now have a medical appointment in mourning and they want my mri from 2005 once navy dr sees my tear in shoulder will they still fix it?im in a school but it hasnt started yet.

  1. If the Navy determines that this is a pre-existing condition, you'll probably be medically discharged. The military is not required to treat pre-existing conditions and will generally refuse to do so if the condition wasn't revealed prior to your enlistment. You'll be given treatment appropriate for your recent injury and most likely medically released. While you could technically be charged for fraudulent enlistment that's rare. Most often this is dealt with as an uncharacterized release with an eligibility code of medically disqualified for service. If you HAD disclosed the condition and the Navy had accepted you, THEN you would probably be OK. By concealing the issue though you have probably screwed yourself out of a military career.
