Septoplasty Rhinoplasty Surgery?

Im getting my deviated septum moved/straightened because my nose is very crooked. During that surgery my tonsils will be removed as well. on Dec 11 im getting the surgery done, and i would like to know-- how long will the recovery take? What things will i be able to eat those days im sitting in bed? And how bad does it hurt to get those operations done?

  1. Generally speaking having tonsils out is a small operation, but the older the patient the more time it takes to recover, and possible complications that may arise. The deviated septum correction will be routine, and you should expect some discomfort post-op, but nothing that your meds should not handle. You may become prone to more colds and infections after your tonsils are removed, it is a common side effect.
