Does anyone know a good bariatric doctor in the St john michigan network?

I am considering gastric surgery for weight loss.

  1. My wife has tried most things to lose weight but nothing has worked quite as well as the wu yi tea that she drinks, it's been covered on CNN and Fox News. She shed 7 pounds in five weeks. She buys it off a friend at work but I found this site in Google; www.newloseweight.com - they have a free trial on at the moment, maybe they're worth a try?
  2. It's not like a spa. YOU don't get to decide. You don't pick a surgery off the menu. A doctor decides what is best for you based on a variety of things. Doctors and surgeons can refuse to do anything at all on you. They have to do a full workup and approve you for any procedure. You also have to lose a large amount of weight through supervised diet and exercise before they'll do the surgery. Plus you have to prove you've tried and failed at regular diets under strict supervision. In other words, they will put you on strictly supervised diet and exercise plans (that you can't cheat on) to prove you really tried and can't lose the weight. Then you have to go on a stricter diet and lose a large amount of weight before the surgery. You have to be referred to a bariatric doctor by a general physician. See your doctor and they will send you to the next step.
  3. Last year I was able to drop 11 pounds. In addition to jogging I joined a weight loss clinic in Ohio. Maybe you should try becoming a member of a weight loss clinic in Michigan. http://www.weightlossexercisetips.com/Michigan-Weight-Loss-Clinics.html It would have been difficult to loose the extra pounds without some help and reinforcement. I now have much more energy and glad I did not put it off.
