Why would old people be more likely to develop cataracts and skin cancer?
I'm so confused on this science thing I have to do for my biology class and this would help a lot if someone could explain, i know it has to do with the proteins and stuff, but yeah...

- Your body has limited regenerative abilities, hence aging. Conditions like skin cancer and cataracts are the result of your body not being able to repair itself as well. Skin cancer comes from years of sun exposure. Same with cataracts, the lens of your eye becomes hard and loses it's elasticity and transparency over many years.
