Anyone here ever had surgery on their labrum (shoulder)?
How long did it take you to recover and how did you do it all those weeks without your arm? I am left handed and I gotta have the surgery on my left shoulder so this is gonna suck! And I will be out of work of course. How long until you were able to go back to work?

- Unless you do manual labor you will be back to work in a week
- It depends on if they had to do a biceps tenodesis or not. If they did, you might be restricted from carrying anything in your hand for up to 6 weeks and PT could be anywhere between 3-4 months. A simple labral repair without tenodesis could have you back to a desk job in about 1-2 weeks and PT might last 2-3 months. If you are required to lift on your job, I would expect to be out at least 2-4 months unless you can do light duty.
