How long does it take to recover from laparoscopic surgery?

I had gallbladder removed three weeks ago, still feeling a bit tired- hemoglobin dropped during the surgery (there was some bleeding). This is probably the reason. What is the best way to get the hemoglobin up again?

  1. I had my gallbladder removed 3 years ago, so I understand your weakness. Your hemoglobin will return to normal in it's own time, so long as you are no longer bleeding. Talk to your doctor before taking anything but iron-enriched foods are a good place to start. We are all in such a rush that we don't take the time that is needed to allow our bodies to heal themselves. You should be feeling stronger and stronger each day going forward.
  2. Take an iron supplement and eat foods rich in B-12 (you can find out by googling B-12 foods.
