What would be a good present for someone who just had breast removal surgery?
I have a friend who is a little older (in her 40s) and just had surgery to remove cancer from her breast. What would be a good present for her? She is not the flower type, she has a lot of food allergies. She enjoyed all the Harry Potter saga as well as other books such as the Lord of the Rings and Chronicles of Narnia, but I think she has read them all... I don't know what to get her to cheer her up, any ideas? Please ASAP!

- maybe a gift that's her hobby. it seems like she likes to read so what about another book, or a gift card to a book story.
- I agree with tiedyeli. A gift card for a book store would be perfect, especially as she is recovering from surgery. In case she doesn't want to venture out to the bookstore, perhaps there are giftcards you can buy from an online site as well. Then she can simply buy the book she's been eyeing and have it delivered to her door. As a personal gift, you might present her with books that you own and have read, complete with your personal critique on the inside cover. Wrap them yourself and deliver personally.
- Just hang out with her (if she would like) maybe go to the mall, take a walk at the park and just make her feel that everything is the same just try to have fun without thinking about it and it should definitely do wonders for her.
