Can Lasik surgery correct my trifocal vision ?

Public Comments

  1. Simple answer- No. It can correct distance and very occasionally by correcting one eye for distance and one for reading can "bifocal" vision be corrected but you would still require glasses for the other (reading, intermediate or both). It is a guarantee that anyone who has laser surgery will require glasses at some point after wards. I would not risk the complications (that are more common that you'd think- us opticians come across the people who have problems after surgery because they think we can do something for them, sometimes we can't!). It's cosmetic surgery and has risks. Think about it seriously and investigate the clinic you plan to use- do not be tempted by cheap prices- a good, reputable clinic will attract people by reputation and not have to use cheap promotions to get you through the doors. Beware!
  2. No, now there is not technlogy to correct it. Maybe in near future
