Rhinoplasty/Nose Surgery?
Most likely getting this surgery done for both breathing and cosmetic reasons in December (during winter break from school) How soon after the surgery do you get the bandages taken off? How long does the pain last? How long does the bruising last?

- I had mine in February this year. After surgery you will have cotton wool packed inside your nose and a splint bandaged over it. The packing comes out the next morning, but the splint will stay on for a week. It's not really painful but very uncomfortable - you won't be able to breath out of your nose and will feel like you have a really bad head cold. The bruising will go away after a week or so, but the swelling will endure for up to a year. Most of it will go down in the first few months, but there may be residual swelling that takes the rest of the year to go down. I had my surgery in February and my nose still feels numb on occasions.
- I would also suggest speaking with a professional. if your around there will be a free webinar at the link I posted below. Im sure the doctor giving it will be able to answer your questions better then we can.
