TRIA home laser hair removal?

Has anyone tried the new tria home laser hair removal system? i read that tria is for permanent hair reduction not removal- so some hair continues to grow back. i am thinking of getting one but am curious about whether you can still get ingrown hairs when the hair grows back in.
