  2. No.. It is considering a health care expense... You can write off health care expenses from your taxes, by the way...
  3. No she can't because it is cosmetic surgery, it is not a necessary surgery if she doesn't "need" it so the answer is no im afraid.
  4. generally no, since it is a cosmetic procedure. there was a case where the IRS lost, but this person was a pron star with super large implants and there was no other logical reason, except for business.
  5. yes she can...as well as her thongs, nails, hair extensions, and anything else that can contribute to her job. Most probably don't do taxes.....although, if they save receipts and such the deductions will even out thier taxes. if yr that interested search this on stripperweb.com
  6. probably not. anyway, why on earth would you want to know that?
  7. Dear asg, I remember answering this same question a couple of weeks ago. At that time I referred to a case of a stripper whose implants were so outsized that they could not be considered cosmetic surgery (not deductible, in spite of what one answer here said). Thje tax court allowed the deduction as a business expense. I thought the stripper in question was Carol Doda, but when I looked it up, I could find no reference to the case. Musta been someone else.
  8. YES. Specifically, search for "Chesty Love IRS". (No, I'm not kidding.) Below is a link to an article by Kiplinger on odd tax deductions. Here is the piece applicable to your question: "7. Breast augmentation. To get more tips, a stripper with the stage name "Chesty Love" decided to get breast implants to make her a size 56-FF. A Tax Court judge allowed Chesty to write off the cost of her operation, equating her new, um, assets to a stage prop. Alas, the operation proved to be a problem for Chesty. She later tripped and ruptured one of her implants."
  9. Yes
  10. Yes, so can women in the fitness industry (aerobic instructors, personal trainers) any profession where your appearance is an important aspect of your job
