I had back surgery and the doctor nicked my spine during surgery?

I had back surgery a little over two years ago. It is to late to sue but my left leg is messed up and my hip hurts the siatic nerve that runs down my left leg is messed up. What can nickingyour spine do to your body and can it be fixed nobody will tell me the truth.

  1. sue then spend that money to get it fixed
  2. What was wrong with your back firstly? Disc? You may be feeling the affects of a pinched nerve....sometimes pieces of your disc after surgery are left and could be "resting" on your nerves.
  3. If the doctor really "nicked" you, chances are he put a cut in the wrong place in the sciatic nerve and actually made you worse. That is how my grandfather became bedridden. If you're not actually "nicked" and are suffering from Post-Laminectomy Syndrome, like 48% of all back surgery patients do, then a good chiropractor can help. In fact, a good chiropractor could have helped you avoid all this in the first place.
