Has anyone had scoliosis spine fusion surgery, then had a injury that caused a spine fracture below the fusion?
My teenage daughter had a scoliosis fusion 2 years ago, 8 months ago was involved in a auto accident and broke her back below where the fusion is, had another surgery 6 months ago. She experiences great pain most times. Has anyone experienced a similar experience? What about pain management? We have tried most things.

- I don't have your daughter's issue, but I do have chronic pain from flatback syndrome and a couple other issues. Pain management works very well for me. I took vicodin and gradually had to increase the dosage so I maxed out. I was switched to MS Contin (morphine). Your daughter probably won't use the same meds as I'm using, but the pain management doctor should work with her to find the right med or combination. Does she have a reason for her back pain? If so, is it operable?
