A question about laser hair removal?
I am trying to decide if I want to pay the price for laser hair removal. I have wanted to get it done for a really long time, and I think it would be awesome not to have to shave any more. But, I am a little worried about something. All of the places I have looked have a 1 to 2 year gurantee. I am just really worried that I will pay thousands of dollars to have it done and then in 2 and a half years, the hair will come back. Have you, or any one you know, had this done?? How did it go? Has your hair come back?? Would you recommend it?? Thanks for any input!!

- I just had my first session last week at America's Laser Center. They are a national company and pretty big in the laser hair removal world. Everyone knows them so they are very reputable. I am spending hoards of money and I CERTAINLY don't want it to ever grow back. They said that anyone who offers a life-time guarantee will eventually be out of business and you will be screwed. This is a permanent thing - it isn't going to grow back. What they do is you pay for the package - thats 6 treatments (I am getting my underarms and face, gross, I know) and they schedule you to get 1 treatment every 6 weeks or so. That is about how long it takes for a new cycle of hair to grow. After the 6 treatments, if any hair grows back, they do it again free of charge until the hair doesn't grow back. After the 2 years, you're done. The hair will never come back. Don't trust people offering you a life time anything - because they won't be in business long enough to offer you that. Anyway - lasering is great! Already I love it and it's only my first treatment. Trust me - you'll be very glad you did it!!!
