- Surgery abroad is less expensive than in the US due to the malpractice and other types of insurance which US doctors have to pay and which surgeons abroad are generally exempt from. It is also safe (somewhere along the line a misconception grew about the use of clinics and hospitals outside of the US ... manufactured by guess who?); of course, the industry itself in the US at seeing lost business and revenue. In any case, as for your question, even getting rid of what you refer to as a "hump" is still considered rhinoplasty and prices in the US range from $3,800 to $6,000.
