Has anyone ever sparred after cataract surgery?
I am an older boxer who spars at least twice each week. I always wear a headgear and spar with 20 oz gloves. I have been advised that I will need to undergo cataract lens implant surgery soon. After I heal from the surgery will I be able to continue sparring? Has anyone else faced the same problem?

- I havent had eye surgery myself but i did know a fighter who who had extensive eye surgery and he was told he should not continue boxing as he could lose his eyesight, the best thing is to ask the doctor or surgeon for his opinion on the matter. i have a feeling he will tell you that you have to stop boxing.
