Anyone know how to correct flat feet?
Well I am 18 and I have a very severe case of flat feet and I was wondering of any other ways to correct them than just orthotics I have them and theye dont work.I have heard their are surgeries out there that can correct them but the problem is they usually take 6 months to fix and I want to know if their are any surgeries out there that can fix them quicker.

- I don't know of a surgery, BUT perhaps you have the wrong orthodics. I went through this and could not wear two sets made for me. The set I have that work go into the entire shoe, in fact, I have to pull out the inner sole of my sneakers to fit them in. When your feet hurt you hurt all over, so check around. It took me over a year to get my feet feeling good.
- I have never known of any surgery and I would say don't fix what isn't broken . A lot people have lived with flat feet in the past and it hasn't hurt them in any way .
