  1. electrolysis is far more painful. it is one by one hair removal. little needle like probe thing goes into each hair, zaps it and pulls it out. it takes a REALLY LONG TIME. laser is much faster, covers more area at one time. zaps feel like rubber band snapping your wrist really hard. both are permanent so far as I know. Though not as much research has been done on the laser. it has been permanent for me. either way your pubic area is going to hurt like crazy. I have had laser done on my stomach before and it costs me $450 per session. i have had 4 session. not completely hair free, but happy with it.
  2. if you to know something about it, i just come accross this blog which may help you. http://laser-hair-removal-prices.blogspot.com
  3. Electrolysis The electrologist inserts a needle into the follicle and sends an electric current through the hair root. Actually it burns the hair root preventing it from producing more hair. Each hair follicle must be treated individually and may take several treatments to destroy the follicle. Laser Lasers produce pulses of high-energy light to burn hair root and destroy the follicle. Now these methods are said to be permanent because it destroys the hair follicle. So we will get permanent hair removal if hair follicle are destroyed. If any of the hair follicle escapes hair grow from there. If you are looking forward to laser or electrolysis first checkout the other methods if it doesn't helped you go for laser or electrolysis. Hair removal can be of two methods one is epilation and second is depilation First one removes hair entirely and the second one removes the hair thats above the surface of the skin. If you want to remove hair permanently or for a long time, you have to choose the first option. Epilation methods are Plucking Waxing ( Sugaring ) Threading Epilators Medications Turmeric Electrolysis Laser Intense pulsed light Vaniqa More information can be found on how to remove hair from the above methods on beauticianworld.com
