does getting a nose job change the shape of your face?
Well I am happy with my face, except for my nose. It's a bad family trait, meaning I have a VERY noticeable bump on it and it's slightly too big overall. When I'm older I want the bump shaven down, and maybe my nose made a bit smaller. Would this change the shape of my face? Eg: Paris Hilton got a nose job and her face looked completely different afterwards.

- Paris Hilton had way more than a nose-job! No, a nose job won't change the shape of your face, but it will seem like the balance of your features are different. Depending on how extreme your nose is, your eyes and lips will appear a bit bigger when your nose becomes smaller. I have one freind that this was very dramatic on...she has this beautiful mouth no one every noticed before, and now her eyes look huge, but her nose had been truly colossal before her surgery.
- Yeah i think it would enhance the face more as the attention would be off of the nose, im only saying this cause i'm getting a nose job and im quite happy with my face but hate my nose so i hope it turns out that way for me lol. ♥

Most people who get nose jobs look completely different afterwards, I think it just has a large impact on one's appearance. Think a lot about whether this is what you want or not. Remember that you can always shave more down and go smaller, but you can never go bigger again
- No a nose job alone will not change your face shape but your face will look different. Some people get other surgeries done such as chin augmentationin conjunction with the nose job to make the whole face look better with the new nose. x
