I have a friend who is afraid to see a plastic surgeon for rhinoplasty (nose job)?

because she think her occasional cocaine use may have done some damage in her nose (which i doubt) . I told her that the doctor is not giving a drug test. He is there to fix your deivated septum. Do you think the doctor really cares what a person does in their personal life?

  1. i don't think doctors really do care about patients personal life, but they do also care in some way to make sure their patients are safe and doing the right thing. also your friend may feel that the doctor may be judgemental towards her situtation and therefore she's afraid to seek help. i'm sure she knows she has a problem with the cocaine and is too embrassed to get her act cleaned up. when you are in a bad situtation, no one wants to be judged, thats just kicking the person when there down even more. good luck to your friend.
