  1. In this day and age not that long at all.. Don't get me wrong you'll still have to have recovery time which they will more than likely say you can do that at home, of course.. They don't keep you long at all, when it comes to surgeries minor or major ones!!! GOOD Luck I was in the hospital on a Day surgery a year ago in May.. so they don't keep you long at all..
  2. 9 years ago I stayed only one day - I got out of surgery in the evening, stayed the whole next day and night, and went home on the third day. I had some complications and had to go back, so don't rush it. Do what the docs say and stay if they want you to.
  3. My Husband just had this done Yesterday (Tuesday). He went in about 6 AM and the surgery took 3 hours because he had so much scar tissue already. They took him in about 8:15 AM and got out of surgery at 11:15 AM. After that, they kept him to watch his vital signs and removed his IV and then about 1 PM we came home. So it's not long at all. About 6 Hours you will be there and that's including your surgery. I guess that depends on if the surgery will be difficult for them. But there's some helpful information.
