  9. ibuprophen is god when you have swelling that will help it go down good luck and i hope you like the new nose
  10. I'd probably suggest Ibuprophen... reduces swelling.... but follow any directions the doctors have given you.
  11. you wait patiently until it goes down on it's own. it's swollen for a reason, let your body do what it needs to do to heal. it's already been through enough trauma, don't make it worse.
  12. lots of ice
  13. I do know that cold tofu can reduce swelling. It remains cold longer and isn't as intense as ice can be. Ice can be painful as a remedy when trying to reduce swelling. Buy some tofu, refrigerate it. When you are ready, Take some cheesecloth, mash up 1/4 of the package of cold tofu and place it in the cheesecloth, fold over the cheesecloth and then lay it directly on the skin. Use for about 20 minutes, until it begins to get warm, then return it to the fridge as you can reuse this preparation. This will reduce swelling and the trauma to the tissues. Do this 3 to four times a day or more. Good Luck! Hope this helps.
  14. i had a freind who had a nose job and it took her 1 year for complete recovery and the swelling went in about 6-8 month .You know it varies from one to another some ppl heal quicly others take longer time just be patient because what r u seeing right now will look difrent after few month ..u will look much better but be patient ...put ice
  15. Hi, Try lots of ice and most important try not to blow your nose 2-3 weeks after the cast was removed. Check out this page for more information: http://www.bestoflook.com/cosmetics/nose-job.aspx
  16. I had a nose-job....it all takes time.....be very, very careful with ice.....I can see that everyone here told you ice, but remember....your nose don't have any real feeling, so you don't know when it will hurt your new nose...after the swelling goes down, after the blue and black cheeks and eyes...then it all gets kinda yellow, which I really hated...cant cover with make-up...so 4-6 weeks after, you will look much better...then after 3 month...then another 6 month...a nose actually take 1 year to settle... oh, by the way...I'm a girl....
  17. you need to put ice on it.it would bring down the swelling
