What are the risks of getting a nose job at 16?

I want a nose job , but I'm only 14 so I'm thinking of waiting till I'm 16. I hat my nose, it has a bump on it and If someone were to say somethig mean about me they'd mention my nose and it upsets me. So what are the risks of one at 16? I know your nose doesn't stop growing so that rele doesn't make me feel any better. If I didn't have that bump I'd have so much more confidence

  1. you should consult a doctor......... or you can get the answers when a doctor will pass through your question on yahoo answers..............................
  2. I'm sorry you don't feel good about how you look. I was born with a facial deformity, which they tried ti fix with plastic surgery, it kinda worked, but I will never look 'normal'. At 14 you are still forming a self identity, which unfortunatly is based upon how you percieve others as reacting to your looks. I got teased alot in school and it really hurt. One thing too about plastic surgery at that age is your maxio-facial stucture (face bones) are still growing. Did you know that your nose is mostly cartalidge (not real bone) and will continue to grow even after your dead? Some people really do respond well to changing their apperance, but after a lifetime of plastic surgery, I have decided to give up trying to be anything else but who I am. It is possible you really do have somthing that is better if it is removed, like some kind of a growth. Find out, knowledge is power. See a doctor, more than one. As for confidence, that comes from the inside. See the movie, 'The Elepahant man'.
