How long is the recovery time on a nose job?
How long is the recovery time on a nose job? How much time is needed before going back to an office type job with little activity? For anyone that has had the procedure, what is the pain like and how long does it take to feel better?

- like a month before you can fully relax about it after bandages and stuf but hey u have natural beauty don't go for plastic surgery except in medical emergencies.. i'm dead serious don't go there
- It can take several months for all the swelling to be completely gone.
- When I had my septorhinoplasty, I was home a good solid 2 weeks before I returned to work/grocery shopping/chores- the pain subsides after week 1, but the brusing was so bad, and I was afraid it might get bumped... The pain sucks, like having lots of dental work done all at once. All in all - I would say a 3 moth recovery period (you REALLY must be careful about bumping it, rubbing it, etc. Everyone heals differently though, so "your mileage may vary" (YMMV)!!!
- You could probably go back to an office environment in a few weeks, but you won't heal completely for about six weeks when the red will be gone and you won't have to worry about a co-worker sneaking up and grabbing your nose saying "I got your nose!," When he probably Will! Sorry! I couldn't help myself. There is no pain when your having the procedure. It's the pain you feel after the anesthetic has worn off! It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that you may not want to get out of bed for the first few weeks, let alone go to work, even if it is an office job!
