2. I understand it is not easy, but they do everything they can to keep you comfortable. Thousands of folks have had it. You will probably be awake, but sedated with a tube still in your throat for a short time. don't let that panic you. There will be tubes everywhere for a while. Pretty routine procedure now for the docs and nurses, not the patient. They know what they are doing. Trust them. In a few weeks you will be like new.
