  2. well friend , to open up this past happenings u need to find the best person with a lot of wisdom and after this u can tell him or her ure old problems and seek guidance in such a way that u have learnt something from ure past, its not worth to keep regretting about ure past, but take that situation as a learning period which will make u polish. ure own character. well my friend if i can help u out in any way do mail me at me.vicom@gmail.com, i was in ure situation in one time but now i am able to help u my friend this is why i am happy that i underwent lot of problems. hope my answers clarified ure doubt.
  3. Sometimes talking about your past reminds you why you feel the way you do about it. Especially if it is not a good part of your past, it is good to go back so so can understand it better and maybe help you avoid going there again. Have you ever made the same mistake more than once? If you only had taken that knowledge the first time you learned it and relived it in your mind, (regardless of how painful and embarassing it was), you would not have had to live it more than only once. Your past lives within you whether you think about it or not, it is in your subconcious. It may come out in your attitude in the way you speak or in the way you look at things, whether it be a negative outlook, or a positive outlook. It could come out in the way you treat other people or the way you treat yourself. Reviewing your past can be healthy as long as it is being done in the right way. This one time I chose to handle a situation in a not so good of a way. Looking back at how I had handled it makes me angry and hurt, but looking back at it reminds me of how I handle similar situations and have gained the knowledge of how to do it in a much better way that makes me feel good about it everytime I look back on the times that I made the right choice. I would never appreciate my actions now if I had never made that bad decision. You will never see a rainbow without the rain.
  4. From my own personal wxperience I have found that when I keep my past locked inside of me that I rot from the inside out. Even though it hurts atleast I get it out. I have had friends try to help me with my past and I truly do not think that they can help. I think it is something I have to work out or get through myself. When I talk about my past I do not want them to feel sorry for me. I just want to get it out, to know that I am not crazy, and to be heard. I did not talk about it when I was younger I would self-medicate, I have found the more I talk about it helps me get stronger, I start to not want to self-destruct. I know listening is hard sometimes.
  5. My past is filled with miserie and sorrow. When I talk about it with others who can relate I feel good knowing that I'm not alone, but then I feel bad for the other people as well. Whenever i can i try to forget the past.
  6. if u let others 'heal' you ull just end up being manipulated...
  7. The key is not in forgetting, but in understanding and having closure, and then one can move on. The only real way is to put the cards on the table and examine what you have, and then put it away forever in a place it can't haunt you or hurt you anymore. If you are on the right path, then this can't be dangerous to your maind set because this new found "mind set" is going to last and last, so to speak. If telling others of your experiences would lead to more hurt because of them, then know before you tell them that they can't be trusted or have the ability to help you in any way. You need to know and trust them first.
