"bilateral gastrocnemius recession" surgery ????
My niece is having this surgery next week, I googled/Wikipedia/webmd'd it all but I keep get misc items that do not pertain this this surgery. She has walked on her tip-toes since BIRTH and now at the age of 8 years old, they are doing this surgery to help her walk on her flat feet. anyone have any links?

- typical surgery for this condition. recovery sux...but it seems to help esp. if therapies have failed too. no links. might look for surgeries for cerebral palsey.
