breast augmentation??
I am thinking about getting breast augmentation, not to enlarge but to even out my breasts. One is a size A cup and the other a size C cup. I am not going larger than a C. I wanted to know if implants actually feel real, and look real? Also if anyone has any other advice or anything that'd be great too.

- I have implants...I went from an A to a DD. I know, big, but i also gained weight. Have you spoken to or reasearched this type of surgery...which would be corrective surgery in my opinion...it is painful and when you wake up you wish you hadn't done it, however, the after effect and the feeling you get of being able to wear the "big girl bras" are worth it. Not to mention that my brother called me "mosquito bite boobies." Since these are your first set, you will probably want saline instead of silicone, but there is a little drawback. Saline doesn't feel as real as silicone. However, people tell me that mine are large but they look and feel very natural and I have saline. It really depends on your body. Another thing of making them look real is the implant shape. I have round moderate profiled implants...which means They are moderately sticking out...basically. You can also go with low profile round and high profile round. They also come in teardropped shapes. Another factor is where your incision site is. My friend got hers put in under her arms and they look very fake. Mine were cut under my breast. You really need to look at some websites and such before you make your decision. Also, have consultations with at least TWO dr's. Good luck!!
- If you do it, you should really do your research first, as the original answerer suggested. I found that research started for me with a support website for people who have had or are considering having the surgery. www.breasthealthonline.com Then, I researched the actual implants at: www.mentorcorp.com (the manufacturer) The results of the FDA approved studies are there available for download for both saline and silicone gel. I had saline, originally, but traded them for silicone gel (which is what I had wanted to begin with--long story). In short, the silicone gel are by far, the better implant. The saline are much firmer and feel foreign in the body...at least to me. I am small and slender so that could play into it. I interviewed 5 PS before choosing one. This is the most important decision and really helped me in determining the size I would ultimately use. Original surgery 300 cc saline, replacement 350 cc gel. Go with the PS you feel the safest and most comfortable with. Even if it is the most expensive one. There are some things you don't mind paying bargain-basement prices for--a surgery shouldn't be one of them. I look at it this way--at Marshalls, you pay less for a brand name imperfect item, and it's ok if one sleeve is longer than the other...not with your breasts. I went from A to D. Good luck!
