Open Heart Surgery..Important question for school?
Tell me some of your reactions towards open heart surgery whether seeing it happen to someone else or having it happen to you?

- I've watched it. It's pretty freaky seeing the chest open and the heart beating away inside a human body. It's even more freaky when they give the heart medication to make it stop beating, then put tubes in to take blood out from the heart and connect to the CardioPulmonary Bypass machine (CPB)!
- i had it happen to me when i was 5 yrs old. my mom and dad told me that they had to put me on heart and lung machine and that the sugery lasted about 8 hrs but that was back in the 1970.
