is there surgery for flat feet?
I've been wearing orthodics since I was seven. When I was little I would wake up in the middle of the night crying because my feet hurt so much. The orthodics have helped a lot, but I still can't do much with my feet. I'm in shape because I bike everywhere (it doesn't hurt the feet at all!) but I just can't actually WALK long distances without pain. And I'm twenty! I have places to go! I don't want to feel like I'm an 80 year old woman anymore. This is stupid. So please help if you know - what can I do at this point? Is there surgery? I'm just so frustrated.

- There are various medical procedures to correct flat feet, but they're usually done as a last resort as the outcomes aren't always the ones expected, plus they require a long recovery time. Now, if you'd like help attempting to correct your condition in a non-invasive manner, I believe I can help. I theorize that by strenghtening the ligaments, tendons and muscle which, during gait, sustain the arches of the feet, the genesis of a normal height arch can be achieved. If this prospect interests you, e-mail me k.sordo@gmail.com for further details. One caveat, though, the chances of correcting your flat feet are greater if you've got what is classified as flexible flat feet, rather than rigid flat feet.
