if youve had spinal fusion surgery for scoliosis, did your back itch after surgery?
please dont reply unless youve actually had the surgery. or almost numb, like when i scratch the area around my scar, it doesnt do much to help. it has been four months since my surgery

- This is normal for any surgery. You know your back is healing when the incision gets very itchy. Ithcyness equals healing.
- Any surgical incision can itch for some time, even well after the healing is complete. I had an abdominal operation in January of 2006, and the incision scar still itches from time to time. It's nothing to worry about.
- Yes indeed, you will experience itching as the muscles and tissue inside your back heal up. It's a good feeling yes? Means all is well and your healing up.
