Why can't plastic surgeons remove dark circles under eyes?

Let's say I am a guy and don't want to wear make-up. Since plastic surgeons do plenty of eye surgery, including delicate tissue, why can't I find info on removing dark circles? If you say they can, and have a reference, please list it. Thanks! (If you are suggesting Avon or other creams, please don't reply. This is only a plastic surgery question)

  1. They can't because it's a symptom- it'd be like asking them to remove measles. Whilst the cause can be tiredness, an allergy or heredity, apparently the most common cause is nasal congestion. Have you considered trying vodder technique manual lymph drainage? It's non invasive (actually feels nice) and would probably be cheaper and friendlier to you body than bleaching or lasers....
  2. I agree with Spark...my dark circles are caused from lack of sleep but mainly allergies. When I'm good about taking my medications and getting good sleep they go away quite nicely.. :) And if you're concerned because of pictures...try retouching it out! :-D
  3. If you take cold, raw, sliced potatoes and put them over your eyes for about fifteen minutes each day, you won't have dark circles under your eyes anymore.
