Nose Job??? I have been granted a nose job on the NHS. I want a smaller nose however as this is for cosmetic reasons the surgeon wont do it he will only fix an area where I had trauma and there is a bump by rasping(like sanding) off 2mm, I dont know if this will even make my nose look any smaller so if i should try and get a loan and go private, has anyone had this done but only this as thats all I would be getting. any help would be much appreciated.thanksxx

Procedure for a Nose Job? The thought of getting a Nose Job never crossed my mind until about two years ago. People just suddenly began commenting on my how 'big and pointy' my nose was and making jokes about it whenever I wasn't around. Had a nose job a few years ago but still not happy with the results. Don't have enuf $ to get another one, wtd I don't know what to do about my looks. Possible nose job/correction surgery? I broke my nose about a year ago, and it is still really sore is some places and off to the side a bit. Until I saw a video on Youtube where this girl was pretty but JUST after a nose job looked 5 years younger and sexy and hot, not just pretty...So am I crazy or do you agree that it makes some noses that used to have a bump look younger and more femine? Has anyone had a nose job? Was the outcome good or bad?? Hi, I am 23 and seriously toying with the idea of getting a rhinoplasty ( nose job) but am nervous too. My friend just got one, and I think it looks terrible, almost worse than before. I've seena lot of before-and-after photos, and I am honestly like maybe a little over 50% of them. some turn out great. but others just don't seem to fit the persons face or they look odd. Has anyone had any experience with a nose job, or a friend, and can you describe the process- how many days they had a bandage on, how many days they were bruised, swollen, etc, How many days does it take for you to see the results of the new nose? I would like to know how many dyas I would need to take off for work too! Can I go back to work in 4 days w/ out pple noticing? Can the surgery be made in monthly payments? **What are your nose job stories/experiences, and any info you can give me on them! thanks! ! please- no stupid, unhelpful answers like the first 2 on this page. Did anyone here get a nose job? I am thinking about getting a nose job but I am very scared. I don't like needles, hospitals or anything medically related. It just grosses me out! But, I really do hate my nose and I always have so maybe it would be worth it. My husband says that my nose is fine and others tell me my nose is ok. But, I did have a boyfriend once that finally admitted after we broke up that "yes" I did have a very big nose. I have always been self concious about my nose. I want a nose job... without having to break the nose? I know that in a nose job, the doctor breaks your nose, and then fixes it... well.... I feel like my nose is to big... But I dont have a bump or anything, and its not even the bone.. its the cartilage around the bone.. i have big nostrils.. and a big center of the nose.... could I just get my nostrils reshaped?... or somethign.... without having to actually reshape the bone?

I always get told by both men and woman that i have a great body shape i'm a size 8 but still have meat in the right places with great legs. The fact that i have thighs saves me looking straight. I eat what i want a never put on the weight which usually annoys alot of my beautiful girlfriends lol. I have a huge grin which my friends find cute because of my cheeks. i have slightly buck teeth which i use 2 luv as a kid (don't ask why) but im getting braces in less than a month time. I have a slightly large head which i can cover up with a fringe so thats fine and on a good day most people find me quite pretty. However one thing thats always bugged me. Whilst everyone goes on about their weight i worry about my rather huge,wide,flat nose that takes over my face and without it i be so attractive. I get told this all the time and see it for myself when ever i c a close up picture of myself. I hate it & really really want 2 change it only i would need 2 work full time job to afford it now

Can a nose job fix a wide and flat nose? I broke my nose when I was 12 and it became flat and wide. Since then, 8 years, I had one nose job to fix it but the plastic surgeon did very little change, it looks the same- flat and wide. Is it possible to fix it so it would be less wide and not so flat, somewhat more pointy? thanks

would a nose job help? For as long as I can remeber I've had breathing trouble. My nose is always clogged up and those nasal decongestions help but it would still come back every night. I went to the doctor and they gave me some medicine and then they said if that didn't work they would need to work with an allergist, but then my dad didn't want to take me back because I told him the medicine sort of worked. My nose arch is flat or non-exsistent. so do you think a nose job would help me to be able to breath easier? I am 15, and part of me wants the nose job because I have always struggled with the fact that I hate the way my nose looks. my nose job? i am two days post-op my nose job. when i look into the mirror, i look nothing like i used to be. the nose and upper jaw are bandaged and wraped but i have this fear that i'll look worse than before the surgery. anybody here with some experience? when do i get the final look?

I just had a nose job, and I am worried about a bump still there!? I had a nose job, two weeks ago yesterday; the works; straightening, tip work, and chizzleing the bump between the eyes. However, between my eyes, slightly on the right hand side, there seems to be a small bump still that is only visible from the left side of my face!? The rest of my nose looks immaculate, and I had a top surgeon! But this bump...is it swelling? Is it my bone still sticking out? This little bump is on the side where most of my black and blue-ness occurred...if anyone knows about nose-jobs, and if there is a lingering swelled bump...let me know!!!!

Is it safe to get a second nose job? I have latin background; i had a very wide nose and i had a nose job. I'm happy with the results, but it's still wider than most girls. I asked my surgeon if i should get a second nose job, but he told me there was a chance my nose wouldn't be well aligned or that the tip may go down.
